A move further west of Boston to a smaller home but more spacious property brought welcome changes and new challenges for these empty nesters and repeat clients. The kitchen, not original to the house, was redesigned to improve functionality and bring it back to an aesthetic that would align with the era of the house and work with the original mahogany framed windows. The owner’s heirloom collection of southwestern paintings are showcased on a jewel toned wall with custom cabinetry designed to complete the living space.
