An original 1950’s gem by The Architect’s Collaborative, brought up to today’s standards, but nothing standard about it. Thinking outside the box and coming up with an inventive layout is like catnip for us. This renovation called for a total rework of the entry and kitchen layout within the house to accommodate an eat-in kitchen, a sheltered entry and a mudroom for this active young family. This project was such a success that the homeowner asked for a repeat of the concept for their new home in Germany.
